Capitol Breach Cases

Below is a list of defendants charged in federal court in the District of Columbia related to crimes committed at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. 

Every case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Following arrests, or surrender, defendants must appear before district court magistrate/judge where the arrest takes place, in accordance with the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.

Roche was arrested on April 13, 2021 and had his initial appearance in the Middle District of Tennessee the same day. He was released on conditions.

Status hearing set for 8/24 at 1:00 PM.

Arrested 4/20/21 and made his initial appearance the same afternoon.

Charged via criminal information 5/14/21 and arraigned 5/25/21 where he pleaded not guilty as to all counts. 

Pleaded guilty 2/9/22

Sentenced 5/20/22 to 12 months of probation with 14 days of intermittent incarceration (weekends for seven consecutive weeks), $500 in restitution.
