BRAWA's 2016 Tribute Award Recipient

On May 6, 2016, The Baton Rouge Association of Women Attorneys hosted its annual Law Day Celebration honoring outstanding men and women of law enforcement who commit their lives to public service.  Holly Sheets, Victim Witness Coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Louisiana, was recognized for her commitment and dedication to the Louisiana Law Enforcement for Gun Safety.  She has served as coordinator, statistician, and instructor for LLEGS since its inception in 2013 and works tirelessly to promote its mission of gun safety awareness and accident prevention.  Holly dedicates a tremendous amount of time and energy to various community based projects to protect children in our community and improve relations between law enforcement and the community, particularly among young people in at-risk neighborhoods.
