Reading Across America

On March 2, 2015, USAO-MDLA visited students at Freeman/Matthews HeadStart and brought reading fun in honor of National Education Association’s (NEA) Read Across America.  Read Across America is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2nd – Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Classes enjoyed a visit by Cat in the Hat along with stories such as Green Eggs and Ham, Would You Rather Be a Bullfrog, and Fox in Sox.
