Announcement Of Counterfeit Goods Trafficking Charges Resulting From International Investigations That Disrupted A $325 Million Smuggling Operation At Port Newark

The results of parallel international investigations that uncovered the one of the largest counterfeit goods smuggling operations ever charged, in which defendants allegedly attempted to smuggle $325 million in counterfeit goods from China through Port Newark-Elizabeth Marine Terminal in Elizabeth, N.J.

Ongoing arrests in New Jersey, Texas, New York and the Philippines have captured targets from the U.S. and China based on Complaints charging more than 26 individuals.
