July 6, 2016

Supervisory Assistant U.S. Attorney Nayback, Assistant U.S. Attorney/Tribal Liaison Adams, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Spindle presented training for the Isleta Pueblo Tribal Police Department.  The tribe’s social services staff, prosecutor and court staff also participated in the training.  The training covered jurisdiction, major crimes, the Violence Against Women Act, and best practices for investigations, and is part of the U.S. Attorney’s continuing commitment to strengthening the Office’s government-to-government relationships with New Mexico’s tribes and responses to violent crime throughout New Mexico, including tribal communities.
