April 1, 2016

On April 1, 2016, Assistant U.S. Attorney and Tribal Liaison David Adams participated in a meeting of the Four Corners Tribal Liaisons with officials of the Navajo Nation in Window Rock, Arizona.  The inaugural meeting of the Four Corners Tribal Liaisons and Navajo Nation took place last fall when it was decided that the meetings would take place twice a year as a way of improving communication and collaborating on public safety issues.  Issues discussed included federal detainer procedure, civil violations bureaus, Special Law Enforcement Commission training for criminal investigators, updates on pending and referred Major Crime Cases.  Assistant U.S. Attorney David Adams was joined by the Tribal Liaisons from the Districts of Arizona and Utah.
