Active Shooter Training

On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, Erik Ulmen, Protective Security Advisor for Department of Homeland Security, trained participants from four congregations in Providence on how to respond in the event of an active shooter. The workshop was coordinated by the US Attorney’s Office and interpreted in Spanish.

On Feb. 3, 2018, Erik Ulmen, Protective Security Advisor for Department of Homeland Security, trained participants from four congregations in Providence on how to respond in the event of an active shooter. The workshop was coordinated by the US Attorney’s Office and interpreted in Spanish. The facility is used by four congregations – including a Jewish congregation, Muslim congregation, a Guatemalan Christian congregation and African-American Christian congregation.
