Law Day 2017

AUSA Gerard B. Sullivan (center) and Rhode Island Superior Court Judge Brian Van Couyghen (left) celebrated Law Day 2017 at the Narragansett Pier Middle School This year’s theme explored the many ways that the Fourteenth Amendment has reshaped American law and society. The students learned how, through its citizenship, due process and equal protection clauses, this transformative amendment advances the rights of all Americans.
