Providence Substance Abuse Prevention

U.S. Attorney’s Office Outreach Coordinator David Neill discussed the e-cig and vaporizer epidemic in the state’s middle and high schools with the Providence Substance Abuse Prevention Council. Mr. Neill provided critical information on how THC marijuana extracts are being consumed with e-cigs and vaporizers and in edibles.  He also discussed the opioid – fentanyl epidemic and an increase in heroin and counterfeit prescription drugs being tainted with fentanyl.
