ROCHESTER, N.Y.—U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Nathaniel Aaron Fisher, 29, of Henrietta, NY, pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. to possession of child pornography. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Tiffany H. Lee, who is handling the case, stated that in November 2013, a law enforcement officer acting in an undercover capacity downloaded images of child pornography using a peer-to-peer file sharing software from an Internet Protocol address registered to a computer in Henrietta. A search warrant was executed and images of child pornography were recovered from the defendant’s computer. The images included prepubescent minors.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 10, 2016 before Judge Geraci.
