Meet the U.S. Attorney

Mark A. Yancey is United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma.  Yancey joined the United States Attorney’s Office as an Assistant United States Attorney in 1991 after working as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma City Division. As an Assistant United States Attorney, Yancey held many supervisory positions including Chief of the Criminal Division and First Assistant.  Yancey is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Washington, DC, and Florida.  Yancey is also a member Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s Advisory Counsel subcommittees on Native American issues, domestic terrorism and civil rights.
