U.S. Attorney Stanton talked to youth attending the Memphis Police Department's C.O.P. summer camp in late June. Dozens of kids between the ages of nine and 17 packed the bleachers inside of the Dr. Willie D. Herenton Renaissance Center for the event.
U.S. Attorney Stanton talked about his upbringing and responsibilities as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee. He also spoke to the youth about the importance of boasting good character, staying committed and compassionate, and watching the company they keep.
