Grand Jury Returns Indictments - Marshfield Man Charged with Interstate Transportation of Stolen Goods
MADISON, WIS. -- A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, returned the following indictment today. You are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
MARSHFIELD MAN CHARGED WITH INTERSTATE
TRANSPORTATION OF STOLEN VEHICLES & GOODS
Bradley K. Green, 28, Marshfield, Wis., is charged with four counts of interstate transportation of stolen property. The indictment alleges that on December 14, 2013, Green transported three stolen motor vehicles from Illinois to Wisconsin. The indictment also alleges that on December 14, 2013, he transported stolen goods with a value of $5,000 or more from Illinois to Wisconsin. According to the indictment, the stolen goods were a car hauler trailer, a flatbed trailer, and trailer accessories.
If convicted, Green faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison on each count. The charges against him are the result of an investigation by the Marshfield Police Department and Northern Illinois Auto Theft Task Force. The prosecution of this case will be handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert A. Anderson.
