Christian Akhatsegbe has been sentenced for wire and computer fraud conspiracy, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft related to a multi-million-dollar cyber-fraud scheme perpetrated through email phishing, credential harvesting, and invoice fraud.  His brother, Emmanuel Aiye Akhatsegbe, who is believed to be residing in Nigeria, was also charged in the scheme and remains a fugitive.

CAMDEN, N.J. – An Atlantic County, New Jersey, man has been charged with falsifying voter registrations, making false statements to the FBI about interactions with prospective voters, and submitting false unemployment benefits claims with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

A federal grand jury returned an indictment against a Clovis man, charging him with possessing over 50 grams of methamphetamine and over 40 grams of fentanyl with intent to distribute those controlled substances

Gulfport, Miss. –  A Gulfport man was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

ROCKFORD — A federal judge has sentenced a Rockford man to a total of 10 years in federal prison for robbing banks in Rockford and Belvidere in 2021, and for violating his terms of supervised release.  U.S. District Judge Iain D. Johnston imposed the sentence on Thursday after a hearing in federal court in Rockford.
