NOAH GALLIEN, age 57, a resident of Slidell, Louisiana, pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Court Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle to a one-count superseding bill of information for conspiracy to distribute more than 28 grams of crack cocaine, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten today.

According to court documents, GALLIEN conspired with others to sell at least 1.5 kilograms of crack cocaine and 10 kilograms of powdered cocaine.

GALLIEN faces a maximum term of life imprisonment, a fine of $8,000,000.00 and at least eight (8) years of supervised release following any term of imprisonment. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 8, 2012.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. It is being prosecuted by Assistant U. S. Attorney Edward J. Rivera.
