ILLEGAL ALIEN SENTENCED FOR FALSE REPRESENTATION OF
A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

JAVIER MORENO-MARTINEZ, age 25, a resident of Mexico, was sentenced today in federal court by U. S. District Judge Martin L. C. Feldman to approximately four (4) months imprisonment, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten.

According to court documents, on March 28, 2012, MORENO pled guilty to falsely representing on a Form I-9 that a Social Security number had been assigned to him, when in fact the Social Security number had not been assigned to him. MORENO is an illegal alien.

The case was investigated by U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations.

The case was prosecuted by Special Assistant U. S. Attorneys Joe La Rocca and Robert Weir.
