The United States Attorney's Office announced that during a federal court session in Billings, on March 31, 2011, before Chief U.S. District Judge Richard F. Cebull, NATASHA COLLETTE YARLOTT, a 30-year-old resident of Crow Agency, appeared for sentencing. YARLOTT was sentenced to a term of:

Probation: 2 years

Special Assessment: $100

YARLOTT was sentenced in connection with her guilty plea to felony child abuse and neglect.

In an Offer of Proof filed by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lori H. Suek, the government stated it would have proved at trial the following:

On March 27, 2010, YARLOTT, Marcia Yarlott, and Allen White Bear were smoking meth in a car near a school in Lodge Grass. They were captured on the school's surveillance camera footage passing a pipe around. During individual interviews, they all admitted smoking meth. Also in the car was J.T.E., Marcia Yarlott's seven-month-old son.

Marcia Yarlott and White Bear pled guilty to federal charges.

The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
