(d) A total of 130 appeals were remanded for further review by the components.
(e) A total of 68 appeals were moot (premature appeals, appeals out of time, no initial request, appeal withdrawn, records eventually provided by components).
(f) Upon review of 44 appeals, the requester failed to adequately identify records or no records were located.

The Director of the Office of Information and Privacy Appeals is responsible for the handling of moot appeals and administrative closings of appeals.
The Chief and Deputy Chief of the Freedom of Information Appeals Unit are responsible for the handling of moot appeals, administrative closings of appeals, and various other miscellaneous matters.
The Department of Justice has not been subject to court order giving rise to a disciplinary action proceeding under 5 U.S.C. 552(a)(4)(F).
