are residents uprooted from next to Ground Zero victims?
Just one question and one comment:
Apparently everyone has forgotten that "victims" are also those whose lives
have been placed on hold or who have had to relocate due to the events of
Sept. 11
Secondly, why aren't some SAFETY and SECURITY measures required of airlines
who are requesting to be bailed out? I know for a fact that airline
management does not want to implement serious security for fear of alienating
their "commuter" or "rush" business clients who like to board planes quickly
and shuttle from city to city with carry-on luggage. Peg the benefits
proportional to the willingness (and effectiveness) in implementing austere
security measures in airports as well as on the planes.
