9/11 Fund to Discriminate Against Gays
Dear Sirs,
My name is and I am writing to you from Dublin, Ireland. I am
deeply concerned at the information contained in the email below, relating
to the USA's current policy of not recognising the basic human rights of Gay
& Lesbian couples who's partners lost their lives, and their right to
compensation also. Especailly, in the 9/11 tragedy.
I have two wonderully loving brothers, who are gay, and the thought that
they can be discriminated against, purely because of their sexuality is
horrific to me personally. People mean more to me, than silly and out dated
laws. Freedom and dignity, isn't something we all should hope for, but
something that we have an absolute right to receive. Please, please re-think
your policy's regarding compensation to gay & lesbian couples, the whole
world is watching you, you need to be seen to be taking a lead. The
President did relax certain insurance clauses a few days after the tragedy
in relation certain things, did he not? Could he not do the same again? I
think he could!!
I hope, that this email won't fall on deaf years.
Regards,
