Simply appalled.
I am appalled at the blatant discrimination that your September 11th fund intends with the recent announcement of ineligibility of gay and lesbian partners of the American heroes that died. Being a gay American citizen, I am further appalled that you intend to bend the laws of this country to allow illegal aliens to come forward for money without penalty. I had contributed to your fund and I am so very deeply hurt by this callous and most insensitive of decisions.
It is no wonder that our country is so deeply hated throughout the world. If hate is so easily practiced by our own law makers and politicians each day against our own people, our heroes, how can we possibly expect to be held in high opinion of others?
Instead of taking the high road, you took the easy way out and have given us all one more reason to be embarassed to be American.
