SHAME!
It is a shame that the partners of gay and lesbian victims of 9/11 will not
all be receiving compensation! What a lame decision to follow the
particular state's policy with regard to gay partners!
You have not been discriminating in a sense in declaring that illegal
aliens will be compensated while you are discriminating against gay and
lesbian citizens and treating them as second class.
As a native New Yorker and New Jersey resident I am disgusted by this
latest demonstration of prejudice and have lost faith your willingness and
ability to serve the cause of justice and freedom for all Americans,
regardless of affectional/sexual orientation and religious belief.
