Compensation
I am concerned that we treat the loved ones of persons who are homosexual
differently than those who are heterosexual. The personal loss that these
life companions have sustained is at least as great without also facing
rejection from their government based solely on whom they love and share
their lives with.
Many corporations recognize the union of homosexual couples in their
benefits. For men and women who have given their lives - intentionally, as
well as unintentionally - for their country, they and their families should
receive the same compensation without regard to their orientation.
