domestic partners
Mr. Zwick,
I would like to voice my opinion that domestic partners of those who tragically died on 9/11 be give the benefits that they deserve as spouses of victims. Let's not compound the tragedy of the day by discriminating against some victims and their families. I sent in money shortly after the horrible events of that day, and I want all spouses to benefit. Those who planned and carried out the attack did so in part due to hate-filled religious intolerance. Those who advocate that gay partners not receive benefits are guilty of the same intolerance.
Please don't compound the tragedy by separating victims an their families to "deserving" and "undeserving" according to the religious beliefs of some Americans. Although I respect their right to have an opinion in accordance to their faith, please do not let their private religious beliefs dictate public policy.
Thank you,
