extend benefits to all American families
It has recently been brought to my attention that the partners of gay Americans lost on September 11 may not be getting the same financial benefits as other grief stricken families across our country. I find this to be a slap in the face to those who have fought for the freedom and rights of all Americans. This great country of ours in rooted in freedom; freedom of choice. And one of those freedoms is the right to choose who to love. It will be a day of shame for this country if some of our citizens are left behind based soley on who they chose to love. Please extend the same rights to all United States citizens regardless of personal predjudice. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
