To whom it may concern:
I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going
to receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses.
I heard the government say said that after September
11 there would be no more "hyphenated Americans".
There is no problem when you Parade them as the heros
that saved us or sacrificed their lives, to inspire
support for the increasing war on terrorism. But give
compensation to their Gay and Lesbian Spouses? I guess
Bigotry and hate still step in to defeat freedom in
America after all. How sad that you cannot learn from
the past, for you are doomed to repeat History's
mistakes.
