9/11 FUND UNFAIR TO GAYS

Dear 9-11 Victim Compensation Fund:

I am writing to express first my complete dismay, and disbelief that after 9-11...we are still divide by a hyphen! Because...Gays aren't now considered good enough to receive the amount that every other American is or will be receiving.

This is discrimination pure and simple! And definably not the American way to go! For isn't it...united we stand, divided we fall.

I just feel very sad that though, Gays are good enough to serve and die for one's country...it is fine. But(!) when it comes to real equality...we are again left out, and marginalzed again.

So I protest that partners of gay and lesbian heroes of 9-11 will most likely not receive the same benefits as the spouses of heterosexual victims from this horrible terror attacks.

Please reconsider this blight on the memories of all the heros who died on 9-11.!!!

FYI: When me and my partner contributed to the American Red Cross...after 9-11...we were doing for all who died...and for their families...whatever their orientation!

Thank-you,
