gay and lesbian benefits
I am saddened that gay and lesbian partners of those
who died on September 11 are not automatically going to
receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses. It is not too late to reverse this policy and take care of all of gay and lesbian partners who have been so deeply affected by the loss of their loved one in the 911 attacks. I trust those with decision making authority will choose to assist all partners, including those of gays and lesbians - this is the path of true compassion.
