Please reconsider

Please do not re-victimize the public by discriminating against partners of gay and lesbian victims of the 9/11 attacks. Haven't we suffered enough from the hatred of those who do not value differences? I felt so proud of the way Americans were coming together to help their fellow man. Now, the Justice Department is being inflexible in it's decision to help partners of gay and lesbian victims of 9/11. Why? Aren't illegal aliens being covered by the victim compensation fund? Do you think that gays and lesbians are somehow different? Ask someone who is gay if it is something they chose to be. I urge you to use compassion when making this decision.
