September 11 compensation
As taxpaying citizens, gay and lesbian Americans should have equal access to the compensation fund. For Kenneth Feinberg to wimp out on the survivors by invoking 'state law' is ridiculous and a specious argument. Everyone who lost a partner, relative or spouse in the WTC destruction shares equally in the loss of their loved one(s). So much for the ideals of the United States. So much for democracy. So much for "compassionate conservatism." So much for human decency.
Mr. Feinberg, you should be ashamed.
