domestic partner compensation

It is unconscionable and morally reprehensible to discriminate against the dead because of a bigotry of certain classes. Gays and lesbians are no less dead than heteros and their partners grieve no less. The specious argument that marriage betokens some sort of permanence that deserves greater consideration and monetary compensation cynically ignores both the state imposed prohibitions against gay/lesbian marriages and the 50% divorce rate.

Do what is right and just.
