Compensation
To Whom it may concern;
I am truly sorry for the loss these families have suffered. I pray
every night for there comfort, but it really upsets me
that they for some reason feel that the US government owes them something.
The Us government did not destroy the World Trade Towers. The American
public gave and gave generously to support the victims families. Now the US
Government has set up a relief fund and they have the gull to complain that
they are not getting enough. We are told that this war on terrorism has
just begun, what will future victims family member expect for us. 9/11 was
a true tragedy, lets not make it a bigger one by allowing the US Government
to be held hostage by greed. These people should be thankful for the
generosity displayed by the American public and the US Government and except
the helping hand instead of biting it. Each and every person that lost
their life in the World Trade Tower had the responsibility to provide for
their family, in the event of their death, they could have been killed just
as easy commuting to work. Would the government still be expected to
compensated their families? Please don't get the idea that I am against the
Government helping these people, I am just outraged at the attitude these
ingrates are displaying. The Government should set the rules for this
relief fund and if they don't like it they don't have to except it. Let
them sue the people responsible, like Bin Laden and Al-Qaida?
