Victim Compensation

To adjust the victim compensation by the amount of life insurance and pension benefits the beneficiaries are scheduled to receive penalizes those that planned for the future. Each person should receive the same amount!! Equal treatment under the law; not equivalent treatment under the law. As it currently stands, we believe the plan violates Constitutional guarantees. What will happen to this plan if there is a lawsuit claiming unequal treatment?

Also, all persons that have suffered from terrorism should benefit as well. Soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who die as a result of actions combating terrorism should benefit. Survivors of those who lost their life aboard the USS Cole should participate. Survivors of the two embassy attacks should likewise participate. As I previously stated, all persons that have suffered from terrorism should benefit--equally. That is the American way!!
