JOHNSTOWN, PA - In their annual Excellence in Government Awards ceremony, the Pittsburgh Federal Executive Board recognized employees of the National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC) for their “deep personal and professional commitment” over the past year. The Federal Executive Board was created by the President to initiate improved coordination of governmental activity within western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia through cooperative action among field establishments in the areas of Government-wide policy implementation, service to community, and improving the quality of the Federal government. The area covered by the Pittsburgh Federal Executive Board includes 24,000 federal employees.

The NDIC employees received their awards Friday, May 29, 2009, at a luncheon ceremony at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA. George P. Buck, Executive Director, Pittsburgh Federal Executive Board, presented the awards to the 22 NDIC employees, commending them for their “outstanding commitment to public service.”
