Anchorage, Alaska – United States Attorney Karen L. Loeffler announced that on August 6, 2010, Jeremy Victor Uldrich of Anchorage, Alaska, was sentenced in federal court in Anchorage to 30 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for his conviction on one count of credit union robbery. In addition to the 30-month prison term, the court ordered the defendant to pay $1,250 in restitution to Credit Union 1.

United States District Judge Timothy M. Burgess imposed the sentence on Uldrich, age 25.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Yvonne Lamoureux. In April 2010, Uldrich pled guilty to one count of an indictment charging him bank robbery. On January 23, 2010, Uldrich presented a teller at Credit Union 1 with a note threatening that he had a weapon and demanding money.

Ms. Loeffler commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Anchorage Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Uldrich.
