california woman sentenced to 28 months in federal prison for oxycodone distribution

Anchorage, Alaska – Acting United States Attorney Kevin Feldis announced that a California woman was sentenced in federal court in Juneau to 28 months in prison and three years of supervised release for her conviction of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone.

On December 7, 2010, Renee Annette Butler, 54, a resident of Sacramento, California, was sentenced by United States District Judge John W. Sedwick.

Mr. Feldis commended the Drug Enforcement Administration, High Intensity Drug Trafficking Task Force in Seattle, Washington and the Juneau Police Department Metro Drug Unit for their investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Butler.
