Montgomery, Alabama - The U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Alabama, along with the Alabama Crime Prevention Clearinghouse will sponsor a law enforcement training on Gang Investigations on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at 9:00 a.m., at Auburn University Montgomery in the Taylor Center. Among other things, the training will highlight gang investigation using the federal tool box, incorporating technology in gang investigation and the impact of prison gangs on local street gangs. The media is invited to the Taylor Center at 8:30 a.m., prior to the beginning of the training. The sponsors will be available to speak with the media and answer questions. Attorney General Eric Holder’s Law Enforcement Officer Safety Initiative will also be highlighted during this media event.
