Montgomery, Alabama - George L. Beck, Jr., will be formally sworn in as the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama, on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., in the Frank M. Johnson Jr. Federal Court House, One Church Street, Courtroom 2-F, Montgomery, Alabama. The Honorable Myron H. Thompson, United States District Judge, will perform the ceremony. An informal swearing-in was previously held on July 6, 2011.
The press is invited and will be allowed take still photos and video tape, with no audio sound, during the ceremony.
