Woman Sentenced For Drug Violation
MOBILE, Ala. - Elizabeth Voncile Gray Porter, 27, of Atmore, was sentenced this morning by United States District Court Judge Callie V.S. Granade, to seventy months imprisonment for her participation in a methamphetamine manufacturing operation. Porter pled guilty to conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine in December of 2011. Judge Granade also ordered that Porter participate in a drug treatment program while in prison, and the drug treatment will be a condition of her supervised release term of four years. The supervised release term will commence when Porter is released from prison. The judge found that Porter could not pay a fine, so no fine was imposed in her case.
This case was investigated by the Baldwin County Drug Task Force and the Bay Minette Police Department. It was prosecuted by Gloria Bedwell in the United States Attorney’s Office in Mobile.
