STATEMENT BY U.S. ATTORNEY JOHN WALSH REGARDING THE SENTENCING OF CHRISTOPHER BARTKOWICZ

“Today Christopher Bartkowicz was sentenced to serve 5 years in federal prison for the cultivation of marijuana.  As I’ve said previously, the 5 year sentence is appropriate and proportionate given the circumstances of this specific crime.  I want to recognize the DEA for their work on this case.  I would also like to thank the U.S. Attorney’s prosecution team for seeing this case from initial charges to conclusion,” said U.S. Attorney John Walsh.
