David B. Fein, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MYRON BLUE, also known as “Chill,” 34, was sentenced today by Senior United States District Judge Warren W. Eginton in Bridgeport to 77 months of imprisonment, followed by three years supervised release, for selling narcotics.

According to court documents and statements made in court, between February and April 2011, BLUE either directly sold or conspired to sell more than 22 grams of crack cocaine and 11 grams of powder cocaine to an undercover agent.  On April 20, 2011, he was arrested by Hartford Police after he was found possession of an additional quantity of crack cocaine.

BLUE has been detained since his federal arrest on June 10, 2011.  On March 16, 2012, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine base (“crack cocaine”).

BLUE’s criminal history includes multiple felony narcotics convictions.

This matter was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Hartford Police Department.  The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan S. Freimann.
