U.S. Attorney Alicia A.G. Limtiaco Visits Philippine Consul General to Guam

The United States Attorney for Districts of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, Alicia A.G. Limtiaco, paid a courtesy visit to Philippine Consul General to Guam, Bayani V. Mangibin.
U.S. Attorney Limtiaco discussed with Consul General Mangibin, the various programs and areas of concern of the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO), which includes criminal and civil prosecution, national security issues, human trafficking and cyber crimes, among others.  U.S. Attorney Limtiaco also emphasized the her office’s efforts to reach out to the various stakeholders in the community and expressed appreciation for the Consulate General's continued support and participation in the USAO's outreach activities.
In return, Consul General Mangibin thanked U.S. Attorney Limtiaco for taking the time to visit the Consulate General and for truly reaching out to the community, including the members of the consular corps on island.  He likewise mentioned that one of the priorities of the Consulate General is also to reach out and empower the community by providing much needed information to them.  He also expressed anticipation of a closer working relationship with the USAO towards the latter part of the year as the Consulate General in Guam assumes consular jurisdiction over the CNMI upon the closure of the Philippine Consulate General in Saipan.
