
Mexican man sentenced for unlawfully re-Entering the
united states

A Mexican man who illegally entered the United States was sentenced on February 3, 2010, to more than three months in custody.
Osbaldo Villasenor-Rodrigues, age 32, from Mexico, received the prison term after a November 13, 2009, guilty plea to illegally re-entering the United States.
At the guilty plea, Villasenor-Rodrigues admitted he unlawfully entered the United States after having been previously removed on about May 7, 2008.
Villasenor-Rodrigues was sentenced in Cedar Rapids by United States District Court Chief Judge Linda R. Reade. Villasenor-Rodrigues was sentenced to time served, 3 months, 21 days, and removal to Mexico. He must also serve a one-year term of supervised release.
Villasenor-Rodrigues is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Richard L. Murphy and investigated by ICE.
