A man who sold more than 5 pounds of methamphetamine in Waterloo was sentenced yesterday to more than 14 years in federal prison.
James McClain, 57, from Waterloo, Iowa, received the prison term after a December 6, 2010, guilty plea to one count of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine. McClain had been convicted in 2001 in Black Hawk County of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to deliver.

McClain is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
