There will be a press conference held on Monday, June 18, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., at the Cedar Rapids Police Department Community Substation, 1501 First Avenue Southeast, in Cedar Rapids. United States Attorney Stephanie M. Rose and other law enforcement officials, including those from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cedar Rapids Police Department, will discuss the Cedar Rapids Safe Streets Task Force.

The Cedar Rapids Safe Streets Task Force is a federal, state, and local law enforcement initiative aimed at addressing gang-related and violent crime in the Cedar Rapids area.
