Iowa Woman Sentenced to over 7 years in Prison for Methamphetamine Offense

DAVENPORT, IA – On December 19, 2012, Angela Marie Ryan, age 36, of Davenport, Iowa, was sentenced to 87 months’ imprisonment for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine, announced United States Attorney Nicholas A. Klinefeldt. Chief United States District Judge James E. Gritzner also sentenced Ryan to 3 years of supervised release.

Ryan agreed with others, including co-defendants Patricia Rae Parris (Ryan’s mother) and Shannon Lea Wroe, to distribute methamphetamine from November 2008 through November 2011. Ryan regularly distributed ounce quantities of methamphetamine over the course of the conspiracy. Parris is still awaiting sentencing. Wroe was sentenced to five years of imprisonment on December 6, 2012.

The case was investigated by the Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group and was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
