SALINA MAN SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR CHILD PORN

KANSAS CITY, KAN. – Nathan E. Boyce, 42, Salina, Kan., has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for child pornography.

Boyce pleaded guilty to one count of distributing child pornography. In his plea, Boyce admitted he used the Internet to post images of child pornography on a public Web site and to offer to trade with other collectors.

The investigation began when agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles targeted a Web site where users were posting and trading child pornography in a chat room. They followed an electronic trail left by a user who called himself “pervypedostrokin” to Boyce at his home in Salina, Kan. On March 11, 2010, investigators served a search warrant at Boyce’s home. They seized computers containing more than 50 movie files depicting children as young as three years of age engaged in sexual intercourse, child bondage, child bestiality, oral sex, anal sex and masturbation.

Grissom commended Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hart for their work on the case.. This case is being prosecuted as part of the Justice Department’s Project Safe Childhood. For more information, see www.projectsafechildhood.gov .
