
U.S. Attorney To Speak In Topeka Friday
TOPEKA, KAN. – U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom will speak twice in Topeka on Friday, Jan. 27.
At 7:30 a.m. Friday, Grissom will speak to the Topeka South Rotary. The club will be meeting in the Student Union Building on the campus of Washburn University. Grissom, the state’s top federal law enforcement officer, will be talking about his priorities for the U.S. Attorney’s office. He heads a staff of about 50 assistant U.S. Attorneys and 50 support members who work in offices in Topeka, Kansas City, Kan., and Wichita.
At 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Grissom will speak at a naturalization ceremony in the atrium of the federal courthouse at 444 S.E. Quincy in Topeka. Fifty or more new American citizens and their families are expected to participate.
