Wichita Man Sentenced to More Than Six Years
For Possession of Child Pornography
WICHITA, KAN. – A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than six years in federal prison for possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.
Kenneth Cheatum, 37, Wichita, Kan., was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography. In his plea, he admitted that an investigation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement identified his computer as having accessed a Web site to download child pornography. When investigators served a search warrant at his home in Wichita, they found 52 videos and 348 photos of child pornography. The images depicted girls from four to 12 years of age engaged in sex acts.
Grissom commended ICE and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hart for their work on the case.
