HOUMA MAN SENTENCED FOR CRACK DISTRIBUTION
LARRY TOREZ JOHNSON, JR , age 33, a resident of Houma, Louisiana was sentenced today by U. S. District Judge Carl Barbier for violations of the Federal Controlled Substances Act involving the distribution of crack cocaine on four occasions, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten.
JOHNSON, who previously pleaded guilty on August 25, 2011, to distribution of crack cocaine, was sentenced to sentenced to 41 months, three (3) years of supervised release after release from Federal prison, and a $400.00 special assessment. JOHNSON is currently on parole from the State of Louisiana and is pending revocation for distribution of crack cocaine.
The case was investigated by Special Agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Terrebonne Sheriff’s Office.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U. S. Attorney W. Scott Laragy.
